A group of antique automobiles, all manufactured prior to January 1, 1916 (have to be at least 100 years old) will be touring the Finger Lakes Region this summer, mostly within Cayuga and Tompkins Counties. The tour, a part of the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) will be stopping for a lunch break at the Lifespan Therapies office in King Ferry on July 25, 2016.
Snappers (the club) is a non-geographic region of the (AACA) that promotes touring with pre-1916 cars. They organize 3-5 tours throughout the country each year and this year’s summer tour is based in Ithaca. Participants will enjoy the amazing scenery and sites of the Finger Lakes Region during the tour, which includes 37 cars and 88 people participating. Participants are coming from far and wide – AZ, CO, MN , MA and other states.
The tour starts on Monday, July 25, 2016 and guides the group north through Lansing, to King Ferry and Aurora.
